Jo Lewton completed her Masters Degree in Business Administration with focus on Health Care Administration and Public Health from the University of Toledo located in Ohio. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Management from Ohio University. Jo serves as the Administrator of Boonespring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Union, KY. She has over 14 years of long-term care experience comprised of Nursing Home Administrator, Admissions and Marketing Director, Consultant and Nursing Assistant. As a management consultant, Jo has assisted with a variety of settings including long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and independent senior living environments. She has presented on a wide array of topics, including the following: marketing on a shoestring budget; community awareness; building a remarkable reputation; customer service; creating a positive work environment; bullying in senior living setting; creativing a customer service culture; effective communication; and teambuilding.I
Delores has been a practicing gerontological nurse since 1976 and a practicing nursing home administrator since 1985. She is a certified dementia practitioner, is RAC certified and is a facilitator and certified trainer for the Respecting Choices- POST/POLST Initiative. She earned both her undergraduate degree and MBA in Health Care Administration and was a Ph.D. candidate at VCU in Health Care Administration in 2007. Ms. Darnell has been a presenter and trainer for the Virginia Health Care Association as well as for CCR Academies and CCR Caucuses.
For 37 years, Gail has served in long-term care. Starting as an Activities Director, she is committed to wellness and person-centered care. As Administrator and Executive Director, Ms. Potter has overseen communities in Pennsylvania and Vermont, encompassing the entire continuum of care. She was responsible for several renovation projects including the development of neighborhoods in skilled nursing, and memory houses in personal care. Ms. Potter obtained a Master of Health Administration degree from Wilkes University, and a Master of Jurisprudence degree in health law from Widener University School of Law. She served as a legal intern in the Advocacy Department at Leading Age, attending Senate sub-committee hearings on Capitol Hill on behalf of the organization. She resides in south central Pennsylvania
